Jacqui Palmer

My name is Jacqui and I am a Reiki practitioner.  I’m a busy Mum working fulltime and my interest in Reiki came about quite suddenly a few years ago. While looking for some meditation music online I stumbled upon the Solfeggio frequencies.  These frequencies date back to ancient history and are said to be the fundamental sounds used in both Western Christianity and Eastern Indian religions, chanted by the Gregorian Monks and in ancient Indian Sanskrit chants.  They are known to help positively with various aspects of body, mind and health. This led me on to research other forms of alternative therapies.

Around the same time, I met a Reiki Practitioner who spoke of its benefits.  This was an area of alternative therapy that I had to explore further. While I had heard of Reiki, I didn’t really know much about it.  Research into it told me it was a Japanese energy system used to remove stress from the body, which in turn promotes the body into activating its innate healing abilities.  A few of the testimonials I read talked about recipients sleeping very well after receiving treatments, tensions being removed from different areas of the body such as shoulders backs necks and a general return to a feeling of well-being.

We all want a healthy mind and body to feel well, in an effort to do so we try to eat good foods, exercise, get fresh air, drink water, reduce stress etc. It sounded very interesting so I booked a session with a local Reiki practitioner.

For me, the benefits from this Japanese healing system were very evident from the first treatment to the most recent, and have resulted in enormous benefits to my busy lifestyle. So much so that I decided to become a practitioner to share the benefits of Reiki with others.
